The State Theatre Acting Company (STAC) was formed in 2015 with the mission to bring a high-level community theater production company to Auburn. The company is the performing arts arm of Auburn State Theatre. STAC’s first production was
The Music Man in 2016. Since then, STAC has brought the following productions to the stage:
Sister Act, Annie, Young Frankenstein, Mamma Mia!, The Drowsy Chaperone, The Game's Afoot
and
Shrek The Musical.
STAC is proud to offer opportunities to perform, create and assist in live theatre for our community, whether as an actor, carpenter or back stage assistance or promotion.
Auditions for shows are typically announced via the
STAC Facebook page roughly eight weeks prior to all productions.
