STAC Presents
My Man Godfrey: Live Radio Play
Sponsored by First Congregational Church of Auburn and Old Town Pizza
STAC brings the fun of old-time radio theatre to life with two special performances of the 1930s comedy “My Man Godfrey.” Set in the depths of the Great Depression, this satiric screwball comedy takes on upper-class foibles. Godfrey, a "forgotten man," is rescued from his packing-crate home by a ditzy socialite and offered a job as butler to her wealthy, eccentric family. Dignity wins the day as romance ensues and tables are turned.
